I urge you to do what you can to support AB 2277 by Member Eng. It may be one of the most important bills for us this year.

This bill will mandate the state to backfill the $80-$100 million that the CCC system will not be getting due to overestimations by the Dept. of Finance of property tax revenues.

If the state does not due this, our colleges will be forced to offer less classes, offer less support services and worst of all, lay off part-time faculty.
