Whereas, The Constitution Article IV Section 2 reads:
Section 2. Eligibility
Student Senate Council Representatives shall continuously meet the requirements specified in Education Code, Section 76061 and as established by the local associated student organizations.
Whereas, The Student Senate Council has members and not representatives;
Whereas, The Constitution does not address how often, nor when eligibility should be checked; and
Whereas, The Constitution does not address who provides verification of eligibility;
Resolved, That the Student Senate Council find it imperative that the Constitution addresses how often and when eligibility would be checked; and
Resolved, That the Constitution Article IV Section 2 be amended to read:
