Elections Process
JOIN OUR TEAM: The Student Senate for California Community Colleges will hold elections for its Board Officers for the 2023 - 24 term during the 2023 General Assembly March 31 - April 2, in Long Beach. Per the SSCCC Bylaws, the Board Officer positions are:
- President
- Vice President
- Vice President of Regional Affairs
- Vice President of Legislative Affairs
- Vice President of Finance
- Vice President of Communications
TIMELINES:
Application Due: January 30th
Notified of Eligibility: February 27th
Candidate Statements Due: February 27th
Candidate Statements Posted Online: March 3rd
Candidate Forum: March 31st
Elections at General Assembly: April 2nd

Each individual who declared their candidacy in advance of the General Assembly are included in this booklet. There is still an opportunity for individuals to run for election from the floor during the General Assembly on March 31, 2023.

This is the form that individuals use to demonstrate eligibility to run for an Executive Officer position.
The document provides the format and requirements for any person running for a Board Officer position and must be submitted by February 27, 2023, by 11:59 pm to be eligible to run for a Board Officer position.
